Sister Josephine Bird (RC) is the Diocesan Co-ordinator for the development of spirituality across the Diocese. Responding to an increasing awareness of the place and value of spirituality in everyday life she works alongside those who are seeking to nurture and support spirituality in parishes and small communities. Aware of their potential to contribute to the prayer ministry within the Diocese efforts are also being made to foster a fellowship of prayer among the housebound. The need to encourage and provide reflection, supervision and training of spiritual guides is another priority. |
