Adoremus 2026: National Eucharistic Congress

“I Am the Bread of Life”

On Saturday, 10 October 2026, Catholics from across England and Wales are invited to gather in London for Adoremus 2026, the National Eucharistic Congress.

Adoremus is the Bishops’ invitation to renew our devotion to Jesus Christ present in the Eucharist. The day will unite delegates from dioceses throughout England and Wales while encouraging parishes and communities nationwide to participate through local celebrations and livestreamed content.

Programme Highlights

St George’s Cathedral, Southwark

10:30am
Presentations on Eucharistic Art and Life, refreshments, and information stands.

12:00 noon
Adoremus Mass celebrated by Archbishop John Wilson.

Following Mass
Keynote address by Cardinal Timothy Radcliffe:
“The Eucharist: Our Sacrament of Hope in Dark Times.”

National Eucharistic Procession

3:00pm
Pilgrimage procession from St George’s Cathedral to Westminster Cathedral, offering a visible witness of faith in the heart of London.

Westminster Cathedral

5:00pm
Solemn Benediction led by Bishop James Curry.

6:00pm
Mass open to all.

7:30pm, 8:30pm and 9:30pm
Holy Hours led by the Youth Ministry teams of Westminster, Southwark and CYMFed.

Midnight – 6:00am
All-Night Eucharistic Vigil.
