Anniversary of the Opening of Shrewsbury Cathedral

Opening of the Cathedral 1856-2026.

On Thursday, 29th October 2026, the parish will celebrate to the day, the 170th year of the opening of the Cathedral. To mark this very special occasion, Mass for the parish will be celebrated; as well as a celebration, in thanksgiving for the 20-year ministry and dedicated service of Deacon Ron Ball, who retires in September.

Refreshments will be provided in the Orchard café after Mass.
