Visitation of the Fatima Relics and Centenary Pilgrim Virgin Statue
We are delighted to welcome the Relics of Fatima and the Centenary Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima to Shrewsbury Cathedral on Saturday 3 October 2026.
This special day of pilgrimage will provide an opportunity for the faithful across the Diocese to come together in prayer and devotion to Our Lady, recalling the message of Fatima and placing our lives, our families and our world under her loving maternal care.
The day will include procession and crowning of the statue, Adoration and Reconciliation, the Holy Rosary and Holy Mass celebrated by Bishop Mark Davies, together with a film and talk on Fatima. The day will conclude with Enrolment and Investiture in the Brown Scapular, followed by the final blessing.
