Shroud of Turin Exhibition – St Leonard’s Church, Bridgnorth
A full-size replica of the Shroud of Turin, believed by many to be the burial cloth of Jesus Christ, will be on display at St Leonard’s Church, Bridgnorth, from Monday 26 October to Thursday 12 November, daily from 11am to 4pm. Admission is free.
The exhibition features information panels exploring the Shroud’s history, scientific study, religious significance and the continuing questions surrounding its origins and the formation of its mysterious image.
A special pre-opening talk by Pam Moon, researcher, author and educator associated with the British Society for the Turin Shroud, will take place at 7pm on Sunday 25 October, exploring the history, science and latest developments in research.
