What we do
The Education team serves the Catholic schools and academies of the diocese on behalf of Bishop Mark, who is their Trustee. We support governance, admissions, Catholic life and RE, leadership formation, school improvement, and the spiritual care of pupils, families and staff. The diocese serves 43,000 children across 109 schools in 11 local authorities.

Our Team
The team is led by Canon David Roberts as Episcopal Vicar to Education and Director of Schools. He works with deputy directors, school support officers, the diocesan RE coordinator, and chaplaincy and inspection staff.
