Pilgrims in Prayer | Day Two 🌍⛪

Today, pilgrims from every nation gathered in the Basilica of St Pius X for the International Mass—a powerful witness to the unity of the Church.

Bishops, priests, deacons, religious and thousands of the faithful came together around the one altar to hear the Gospel of the day: the feeding of the five thousand. In this miracle, we are reminded that when we place what we have into the hands of Christ, He provides in abundance, nourishing His people with hope, faith and love.

As pilgrims from the Diocese of Shrewsbury joined the universal Church in prayer, we gave thanks for the gift of our faith and for the countless blessings received through 75 years of pilgrimage to Lourdes.

May the Lord continue to bless all who journey with us in Lourdes and all those united with us in prayer from home.
